Solution!!

It is given that length of a rectangle is 4 cm more than its breadth. The perimeter of the rectangle is also given.

Perimeter = 4 m = 400 cm

Let the breadth be x.

Length = 4 cm + x

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

400 = 2(4 + x + x)

400 ÷ 2 = 4 + 2x

200 = 4 + 2x

196 = 2x

x = 196 ÷ 2

x = 98

1 cm = 0.01 m

Breadth = 98 cm = 0.98 m

Length = 4 cm + 98 cm = 102 cm = 1.02 m

(d) b and c both are correct.
