Let, the breath of rectangle is x

then, the length of rectangle is x+4

and perimetre of rectangle is given = 80cm

we find the area of rectangle ??

So, ,

Perimetre of rectangle is 2{l+b} = 80 cm

2{x+x+4} = 80 cm

2x+4 = 80/2

2x+4= 40

2x= 36

X= 18

So the value of x is 18cm,, , Simply now we find the Breath of rectangle and length of rectangle

So, Breath of rectangle is x= 18cm

" length of rectangle is x+4 = 22cm

Now, , we find the area of rectangle = l×b

22×18 cm = 396 cm²
