Step-by-step explanation:

let b=x

l=4x

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

125=2(x+4x)

125=2(5x)

125=10x

x=12.5

b=12.5m

l=4×12.5=50m

SOLUTION :→

Given :

  • The length of a rectangle is 4 times

         they breadth if the perimeter is 125m

===========================

To find :

  • The length and breadth of rectangle

===========================

Let the breadth of rectangle is 'x'

∴ Length will be 4x

===========================

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

                              125 = 2 (4x + x)

                              125 = 2 (5x)

                              125 = 10x

                                  x = 125 ÷ 10

                                 x = 12.5M

===========================

Length of rectangle = 4x = 4 × 12.5 = 50m

  and breadth = x = 12.5M
