Step-by-step explanation:

B=X

L=X+4

PERIMETER OF REC.=2(L+B)

2(X+X+4)=4.16

2(2X+4)=4.16

4X+16=4.16

4X=4.16-16

4X=-12.16

X=-12.16/4

X=-3.4

Answer:

Length of rectangle=x+4

Perimeter=4.16m = 416cm

Let the breadth be x.

ATQ

2(x+4+x)=416

4+2x= 208

2x=208-4

x=204/2

x=102

So, the breadth of the rectangle= x=102cm

Length of the rectangle= x+4=102+4= 106cm
