Answer

let initial breadth be x

initial length be x+4

Area 1 = x (x+4)

changed length is (x+4)+4

changed breadth is x-2

Area 2 = (x+8)(x-2)

Given area1 = area2

x^2+4x = x^2+8x-2x-16

x = 8

Length is 12 cm and breadth is 8 cm
