\implies Here it is given in the question that the length and breadth of a rectangle is 5 cm and 2 cm respectively. Now the question has asked to find out the perimeter of the given figure.

⛤ HOW TO DO:-

\to Here, to find out the perimeter of the given rectangle we need to apply a certain formula. According to the formula first of all we need to do the sum of the length and the breadth. Then after we have to multiple the sum of the length and breadth with 2. The product which we will get after multiplying will be our answer.

----------------------

ANSWER:-

  • The perimeter of the given rectangle is 14 cm.

GIVEN:-

  • Shape:- Rectangle
  • Length:- 5 cm
  • Breadth:- 2 cm

TO FIND:-

  • Here we have to find the perimeter of the rectangle.

SOLUTION:-

  • We have to use a certain formula.
  • Put the values.
  • Solve.

We know that:-

 \pink \bigstar \: \underline{ \boxed{ \rm \green{Perimeter \: of \: rectangle = 2(l + b)}}}

----------------------

So let's solve it!

  • Finding the perimeter:-

 \dashrightarrow \tt{Perimeter = 2(5 + 2)}

 \dashrightarrow \tt{Perimeter = 2(7)}

 \dashrightarrow \tt{Perimeter = 2 \times 7}

 \dashrightarrow \tt{Perimeter = 2 \times 7 = 14}

 \pink \circledast \: \overline{ \boxed{ \rm \green{Perimeter = 14 \: cm}}}

Thus, we got the answer.
