let breadth=x

length=x+5

2(l+b)=50cm

2(x+5+x)=50

2x+5=25

2x=20

x=10

breadth=10cm

length=x+5=10+5=15cm

Area=l×b

=15×10

=150cm²

let breadth be x cm

so length = x+5 cm

perimeter = 50cm

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

50 = 2(x+x+5)

50 =2 (2x+5)

50= 4x + 10

50 - 10= 4x

40 = 4x

x= 10cm

so breadth = 10cm and length = 10+5=15 cm

now

area of rectangle = l*b

so,

15*10= 150 cm^2
