the length of a rectangle is 5 cm more than its breadth. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 46 cm,then its area how much?

breadth= x cm

length=(x+5)cm

perimeter=2(x+x+5)

=46

46=4x+10

36=4x

x=9

length=14

breadth=9

area =length×breadth

area=14×9

=126
