Then length=(x+5)

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

40=2((x+5)+5)

40=2(x+5+5)

40=2(x+10)

40=2x+20

40-20=2x

20=2x

x=20/2

x=10

Therefore, length =(x+5)=(10+5)=15

and Breadth=x=10
