Answer:

10 cm and 15 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth be b cm

So length becomes b+5 cm

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

Perimeter=50 cm

so 2(b+b+5)=50

2(2b+5)=50

4b+10=50

4b=50-10

4b=40

b=40/4

b=10 cm

so l becomes 10+5=15 cm

50

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x cm.

Then it's length = x + 5 cm

perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

=> 50 = 2( x + (x+5))

=> 50/2 = 2x + 5

=> 2x + 5 = 25

=> 2x = 25 - 5 = 20

=> x = 20/2 = 10cm

Breadth = x = 10cm and length = x + 5 = 10 + 5 = 15 cm

Hope! this will help you
