 \bf \large \it \: Hey \:  User!!!

according to the question, the length of the rectangle is 5cm more than it's breadth.

let the breadth of the rectangle be x. therefore the length of the rectangle is x + 5

perimeter of the rectangle = 82cm
>> 2 ( l + b ) = 82cm
>> 2 ( x + 5 + x ) = 82cm
>> 2x + 5 = 82/2
>> 2x + 5 = 41
>> 2x = 41 - 5
>> 2x = 36
>> x = 36/2
>> x = 18

hence, the breadth of the rectangle is = x = 18m

and the length of the rectangle is = x + 5
= 18 + 5
= 23m

Hello!

Let :

\textbf{Breadth} = x
\textbf{Length} = x + 5

Then,

\textbf{Perimeter \:of\: rectangle} = 82 cm

⇒ 2 ( l + b ) = 82

⇒ ( l + b ) = \dfrac{\sf 82}{\sf 2}

⇒ x + x + 5 = 41

⇒ 2x = 36

⇒ x = \dfrac{\sf 36}{\sf 2} = \boxed{\sf 18 \: cm}

Therefore,

• Breadth = \textbf{18\: cm}
• Length = 18 + 5 = \textbf{23 \:cm}

Cheers!
