here is your answer

let the breadth = x cm

then, length= x+5 cm

given perimeter of rectangle =40m

but

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 40 = 2 (x+5+x)

=>20 = 2x+5

=>2x=20-5

2x=15

x=15/2=7.5

thus, breadth = x = 7.5cm

and length = x+5=7.5+5=12.5 cm

hope this helps.
