Step-by-step explanation:

Let the width be x

∴ Length = 2x-5

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

50= 2(2x-5+x)

50= 6x-10

⇒6x=60

∴x=10m

∴Width of the rectangle = 10m

Length = 2x-5 = 20-5

             =15m
