The length of a rectangle is 5 meters more than its width. If the length is shortened by 2 meters and the width is increased by 1 meter, the area remains the same. Find the area of the rectangle.

see the width is 5 meters

it's doble = 5×2=10

if the length is shorten by 2 :-

10-2 = 8

width increase by 1 Meter :-

5+1=6

the area=L×B:-

8×6=48
