Step-by-step explanation:

breadth = X

length = 5x X ( five times of breadth)

P= 96m

2(l+b) = 96m

2( 5x + X) =96m

2(6X) = 96m

6x = 96/2

6X = 48

X = 48/6

X= 8

L = 5xX

= 5x 8

L = 30 cm

B = X

B= 8 cm

length = 5 time of it's breath so.

length= 5X

breath=X

by perimeter formula

2(L+B) =96 ( perimeter is given)

so

we divide 96 by 2

we got = 48

(5X + X) = 48

( 6 X) = 48

so

X = 48 divide by 6

we got 8

so X= 8 and

5X = 8 multyply by 5

we got 40

so

length = 40

breath= 8
