The length of a rectangle is 5cm more than its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 40cm, find the area of the rectangle

area is 17.5 cm it will help

let the width of rectangle be x
then length would be x+5
given
2(x+x+5)=40
2x+5=20
x=7.5
length is 7.5+5=12.5
hence the area is
length × width
12.5×7.5=93.75
