therefore,

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

that means,

2(x+x+5) = 50CM. [A/Q]

2(2x+5)= 50cm

4x+10= 50cm

x=40/4

x= 10. l = 10+5= 15 and b= 10

Now,

area of rectangle= l×b

therefore,

15cm × 10cm

= 150cm²
