Answer:

Given :-

Perimeter = 250

Length is 5 more than breadth

To Find :-

Length and breadth

Solution :-

We know that

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

Length = l + 5 and breadth = l

250 = 2(l + 5 + l)

250/2 = 2l + 5

125 = 2l + 5

125 - 5 = 2l

120 = 2l

120/2 = l

60 = l

Breadth = 60 m

Length = 60 + 5 = 65 m

Answer:

60 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Length = 5m greater than it's breadth

Perimeter = 250 m

To find:

Length and Breadth.

Let the Breadth be "x".

So,length = (x+ 5)

As perimeter is 250,

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

250 = 2(x+x+5)

250 = 2(2x+5)

250 = 4x+10

250-10 = 4x

240 = 4x

x = 240/4

x= 60
