Given -

Length = 2×(breadth) - 5

Perimeter = 62 m

To Find -

Length and breadth

Solution :

Let the breadth be "x" m

so,

length = 2x - 5

We know ,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

Put the values

62 = 2 ( 2x - 5 + x )

31 = 3x - 5

31+5 = 3x

3x = 36

x = 12 m

So,

Breadth = 12m

Length = 2×12 - 5 = 24 - 5 = 19m
