Given :-

  • Length of rectangle = 6/5 times the breadth
  • Perimeter = 132 m

To find :-

  • Area of rectangle

Solution :-

Let the breadth be x and the length of rectangle be 6/5 x

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

: \implies\sf{2(x +  \dfrac{6}{5}x) = 132}

: \implies\sf{2x +  \dfrac{12}{5}x = 132}

: \implies\sf{\dfrac{10 + 12}{5}x = 132}

: \implies\sf{\dfrac{22}{5}x = 132}

: \implies\sf{x =  \dfrac{132  \times 5}{22} }

: \implies\sf{x = 30 \: cm}

Breadth = x = 30 cm

Length = \sf{\dfrac{6}{5}}x = \sf{\dfrac{6}{5}  \times 30} = 36 cm

Formula to find area -

Area = length × breadth

= (30 × 36) sq cm

= 1,080 sq cm

Hence, option (2) is correct.
