let the breadth be 'b'

length=6b

breadth=b

perimeter of rectangle=2[l+b]=60cm

      2[6b+b]=60

       2[7b]=60

      14b=60

      b=60/14

     b=30/7

   breadth=b=30/7

   length=6b=[30/7] x 6

                 = 90/7

Answer: Length=12

Area=216cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length be x

Then,2(x+x+6)=60

or,4x+12=60

or,4x=60-12=48

or,x=48/4=12

Area=Length×Breadth

=12×18

=216cm^2
