length =x+6
Area =(x+6)×(x)
=ײ+6x
Length of new rectangle =x+6-3=x+3
breadth of new rectangle =x+2
Area remains unchanged =x²+6x
(x+3)×(x+2)=x²+6x
x²+2x+3x+6=x²+6x
x²-x²+5x-6x=-6
-x=-6
x=6
