then the length would be 3x - 6

now according to the question,

    2[3x + x - 6] = 148

    6x + 2x - 12 = 148

    8x = 148 + 12

    8 x = 160

       x = 160/8

      x = 20 units    answer!!!!!

now the breadth is 20 and your length is 54
