The length of a rectangle is 6 m less than twice its width. Write the algebraic expression for the perimeter of the rectangle.

Answer:

let the breath be X

Then length = 2X-6

perimeter of rectangle=2(length+ breath)

therefore perimeter=2(X+2X-6)

=2x+4x-12

=6X-12

=>12=6X

=>x=12/6=2

value of x is 2

breath is,2 and length is 2

perimeter is 8
