the length of a rectangle is 6 meter more than is breath. the perimeter of the rectangle is 60 meters. find its length and breath

Let the breadth be x and length will be (x+6) m

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

Here,

60 = 2(x + x+ 6) 

60/2 = x + x + 6 

30 =2x + 6 

30- 6 =2x 

24 =2x 


24/2 =x 


12 =x

Now,

breadth of Rectangle = x = 12 m 

Length of Rectangle= x +6 = 12 +6 = 18 m
