Let

The length of the rectangle be = x + 6 m

The breadth of the rectangle be = x m

perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

ATQ

128 = 2 ( x + 6 + x )

→ 128 = 2x + 12 + 2x

→ 128 = 4x + 12

→ 128 - 12 = 4x

→ 116 = 4x

→ x = 116/4

→ x = 29

Therefore,

The length of the rectangle is = ( 29 + 6 ) m= 35 m

The breadth of the rectangle is = 29 m
