Answer:

hey there!

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth be x cm.

Length=(x+6)cm

Area = 1216 square cm(given)

Area of rectangle=l×b=x×(x+6)=x^2+6x

But according to question,

x^2+6x=1216

solve it and u will get the answer

hope it's helpful

Answer:

let breadth be x so length will 6+x

area of rectangle = lb

1216cm²= x(6+x)

0= x²+6x-1216

0=x²+38x-32x-1216

0=x(x+38)-32(x+38)

0=(x+38)(x-32)

x=-38

x=32

so x will be 32 as breadth cant be negative

so length will be 6+x =32+x=38
