Let the length be 6+x

breadth be x

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

60 = 2(6+x+x)

60 = 2(6+2x)

60 = 12 + 4x

60-12= 4x

48= 4x

48/4= x

12 = x

l = 6+12= 18 cm

b= 12 cm

Answer:

let the breath be x

perimeter=60cm

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

2(l+b)=60

2(x+6+x)=60

2(2x+6)=60

4x+12=60

4x=60-12

4x=48

x=48÷4

x=12

breadth=12cm

length=12+6

=18cm
