the length of a rectangle is 6cm more than its breadth. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 60 cm , find the its length and breadth. also find its area.

let breadth be x therefore length is x +6

perimeter is 2x + 2(x+6) =60
therefore x= 12
length = 18 cm breadth =12cm
area = 216 sq cm
