The length of a rectangle is 6cm than the breadth if the perimeter of the rectangle is 80cm find the length and the breath of the rectangle

We know,
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b).......(1)
Given that,
Perimeter=80cm and
length is 6cm more than the breadth
Therefore,
b = l + 6............(2)
use (2) in (1)
2(l+b)= 80
2(l+l+6)= 80
2(2l+6)= 80
4l + 12= 80
4l = 80-12
4l = 68
l = 68/4
l = 17cm

In (2)
b = l+ 6
b = 17+6
b = 23cm
