the length of a rectangle is 6m less than twice it's breadth. If the perimeter is 54m then it's length and breadth?

the breadth of rectangle = x

the length of rectangle = 2x-6

the perimeter of rectangle = 54m

perimeter = 2(l+b)

54m = 2(2x-6+x)

54m = 4x-12+2x

66m = 6x

x = 11m

the breadth of rectangle = 11m

the length of rectangle = 11*2-6

= 22-6= 16m
