I think it will help you let the width be X metre and length be x + 6M.
new rectangle
width is equals to X + 4
length = 2 X + 4 + 6 = x + 10m
area of triangle = (x+4)(x+10)
80 =X square + 10 X + 4 x + 40
0 = x square + 10 X + 4 x + 40 - 80
0 = x square + 14 x -40
0 = x(x-10)+4(x-10)
I think something is wrong in question but it will solve like this and it is quadratic equation . Im small so I only know easy quadratic equations to solve I thought I can solve but sorry but I will again but not now I'm going to study because my test is tomorrow and still didn't study I've to revise
