let the breath = x

then, length. = 7x/5

perimeter = 49 cm

perimeter = 2( length + breath)

49 = 2( x + 7x/5)

49 = 2x + 14x/5

49 = 10x + 14x/5

49 = 24x / 5

24x = 49 × 5

x = 49×5/24

x = 35/3

length = 7x /5

(7×35/3)/5

49/3 = length
