  • Length of rectangle is 7cm more than its breadth.

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 90cm

  • Length and breadth.

Let the breadth be 'x' cm.

Length will be 'x+7' cm.

 \\  \boxed{ \sf \:  perimeter_{(rectangle)}  =2(length + breadth) } \\  \\

Putting values we get ,

 \\  \sf \: 90 = 2(x + 7 + x) \\  \\  \sf \: \cancel  \frac{90}{2}  = 2x + 7 \\  \\  \sf \: 45 = 2x + 7 \\  \\  \sf \: 45 - 7 = 2x \\  \\  \sf \: 38 = 2x \\  \\  \sf \:  \pink{x = 19} \\  \\

Breadth = x = 19cm

Length = x + 7 = 26cm

Hence , length and breadth are 26cm and 19cm respectively.

Verification :-

2(l+b) = 90

2(26+19) = 90

2(45) = 90

90 = 90ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ(verified)
