S O L U T I O N :

Let the breadth of a rectangle be r metres & let the length of a rectangle be (r+7) metres respectively.

\underline{\underline{\tt{According\:to\:the\:question\::}}}

As we know that formula of the rectangle of perimeter;

\boxed{\bf{Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)}}

\mapsto\tt{2[(r+7) + r ] = 230}

\mapsto\tt{2[r+7 + r ] = 230}

\mapsto\tt{2[2r + 7]= 230}

\mapsto\tt{4r  + 14 = 230}

\mapsto\tt{4r   = 230-14}

\mapsto\tt{4r   = 216}

\mapsto\tt{r  = \cancel{216/4}}

\mapsto\bf{r = 54\:m}

Thus;

The breadth of a rectangle = r = 54 m .

The length of a rectangle = (r+7) = (54+7) = 61 m .
