breadth(b)=x
length(l)=7times it's breadth
7x
perimeter of rectangle is 96 m
2(l+b)=2(x+7x)
96=2(8x)
96/2=(8x)
48=8x
x=48/8
x=6m

breadth (b)=x=6m
length (l)=7x=7(6)=42m

let breadth be x then length will be 7x

now,

we know that perimetre=2(length+breadth)

2(7x+x)=96

16x=96

x=6

so its length is 7x=6*7=42

and its breadth=6
