let the breadth be x
then, the length is x+7
so, 2[x+(x+7)]=50
=2x+7=50/2=25
=2x=25-7=18
=x=18/2=9
9+7=16
the length is 16 and the breadth is 9

let the breadth be x m
therefore the lenght= (7+x)m
now perimeter of a rectangle =2(length+breadth)
50=2[(7+x)+x]
50=2(7+2X)
50=14+4x
36=4x
x=36/4
x=9

therefore length=7+9=16m
breadth=9m
