Let the breadth be b
Length of the rect = 7 + b
Perimeter of a rect = 50 m
2(l+b) = 50
2(7+b+b) = 50
2(7+2b) =50
14 + 4b =50
4b = 50-14
4b = 36
b = 9

therefore,
breadth = 9m and
length = 7+9 = 16m

hope it helps u

Heya friend,

◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆

Let its breadth be (x) m. Then,

it's length = (x+7) m.

According to question,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 50 = 2(x+7+x)

=> 50 = 2(2x+7)

=> 50/2 = 2x+7

=> 25 = 2x+7

=> 25-7 = 2x

=> 18 = 2x

=> x = 18/2

=> x = 9

Hence, it's breadth = 9 m and

it's length = 9+7 = 16 m.

Thanks
