The length of a rectangle is 8 cm and each of its diagnol is 10 cm . Find the breadth.

we know that , if l is the length of the rectangle, b is the breadth of the rectangle and d be the length of the diagonal.Then by Pythagoras theorem ,
l²+b²=d²
Given, l=8cm ;d=10cm
→8²+b²=10²
64+b²=100
b²=36
b=6cm
so, the breadth of the rectangle is 6cm.
