10^2 = 8^2 +x^2
==>x^2 = 100-64
==>x^2 = 36
==>x = 6

Diagonal (d), length (L) and breadth (b) of rectangle forms an equilateral triangle with diagonal being Hypotenuse.

So, by using Pythagoras theorem
d² = L² + b²
b² = d² - L²
b = √d² - L²
b = √(10² - 8²)
b = √36
b = 6 cm

Breadth of rectangle is 6 cm
