Heya !!!

This is your answer......

Given :-

Perimeter of rectangle = 76 cm.

It is given that the length is 8 cm more than twice the breadth.

Also, perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b). ...(i).

Let us take length as l and breadth as b.

l = 2b + 8. (ii).

So, according to the question,

From equation (I) and (ii).

P = 2 (l +b)
76 = 2 (2b + 8+b)
38 = 2b + b + 8
3b = 30
b = 10.

Hence, the breadth is 10cm and length is (2b+8) = 28 cm.

Hope you got the answer.......

Heya,

Let's assume that,
Breadth = x
Length = 2x+8 [length is twice more than of breadth]

Perimeter = 2 (l + b)
76 = 2 (2x + 8 + x)
76 = 2 (3x + 8)
76 = 6x + 16
76 - 16 = 6x
60 = 6x
60/6 = x
10 = x

Hence,
Breadth is equal to 10cm
Length = 2x + 8
Length = 2 × 10 + 8
Length = 20 + 8
Length = 28cm

Hope my answer helps you :)
