The length of a rectangle is 8 units more than its width. If the with is 11.5 cm, then what is the perimeter of the rectangle?

width of rectangle = 11.5 cm
length of rectangle = 11.5 + 8
                                = 19.5 cm 
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
                                   = 2(11.5 + 19.5)
                                         62 cm

As given that the lenght is 8 units more than width so length = 11.5cm + 8 = 19.5cm

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b )= 2×(19.5+11.5)cm

=(2×31)cm
=62 cm
