A rectangle can be divided into two triangles.

Sides of each triangle will be 8cm and 10 cm.

According to Pythagoras theorem,

a2 = b2 + c2

102 = 82 + c2

c = √ (102 – 82)

c =

c = 6 cm

So, breadth of rectangle is 6 cm.
