Here the relation between length and breadth of a rectangle is given

length = breadth + 8

Also, the perimeter of the rectangle is given to be 64 cm

perimeter = 2 ( length + breadth )

           64 = 2 ( breadth + 8 + breadth )

           32 = 2(breadth) + 8

          24 = 2(breadth)

  breadth = 12

So, length = breadth + 8

                  = 12 + 8

                  = 20

Hence, the length and breadth will be 20 cm and 12 cm respectively.
