Answer:

perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

let b= 6x and l = 6x + 8

156m = 2 ( 6x + 8 + 6x )

156m = 2 ( 12x + 8 )

156m = 24x + 16

156 - 16 m = 24x

140m = 24x

x = 140/24

x = 35/6

l = 6.35/6 + 8

=210/6 + 8 = 35 + 8 = 43m

b = 6.35/6

= 210 /6 = 35m

hope it helps you

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the width of rectangle be =x

and

length of rectangle is =6x+8m

a/q

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

156m = 2(6x+8+x)

2(7x+8)=156m

14x+16=156m

14x=156m-16

14x=140m

x=140/14 m

x=10m

width=x=10m

length=6x+8

=60+8

=68m
