Area = L×B

AREA = (B+7)(B_7)

=(B²_7²)

= (B²_49)m

Given :

The length of a rectangle is (b + 7)m and its breadth is (b – 7)m.

Find :

Area of rectangle

solution :

Area of rectangle = lenght × breadth

➩ ( b + 7 ) × ( b - 7 )

using identity

( a² - b² = ( a + b ) ( a - b) )

➩ ( b × b ) × ( 7 × 7 )

➩ b ² - 49m²

Hence, Area of rectangle is b² - 49 m²
