Let the length and breadth of rectangle be l and b respectively

new l= l+30l/100

        =7l/10

new b= b+30b/100

         = 23b/20

old area(a)=lb

new area(A)=(7l/10)(23b/20)

                   =7l*23b/10*20

                   =161lb/30

                   =161/30*lb

increase %=A-a/a*100

                  =161/30*lb-lb/lb*100

                  =131/3*10

                  =43.6% increase
