Answer:

Let the Breadth be x and Length be 4x of rectangle.

According to the Given Question :

⇒ Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

⇒ 60 cm = 2(4x + x)

⇒ 60 cm = 2 × 5x

⇒ 60 cm = 10x

  • Dividing both by 10

x = 6 cm

  • Length = 4x = 4(6 cm) = 24 cm
  • Breadth = x = 6 cm

Given ,

  • The length of a rectangle is four times it's breadth

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 60 cm

Let ,

The breadth of rectangle be " x "

Then , Length = " 4x "

We know that , the perimeter of rectangle is given by

 \boxed{ \tt{Perimeter = 2(l + b) }}

Thus ,

60 = 2(4x + x)

30 = 5x

x = 30/5

x = 6 cm

Therefore , the length and breadth of rectangle are 24 cm and 6 cm
