The length of a rectangle is four times its width. If the area is 100 m2 what is the length of the rectangle? ​

Answer:

let length of the rectangle =x

so it's width= 4x.

area if rectangle =l*b

100=4x*x

100=4x^2

x^2=25.

x=5

hence length = 5 m

and width =20m
