We know Area = length × width

Let Width of rectangle be x metres thus the length of rectangle is 4x

Area of rectangle = 4x × x = 100m^2

4x^2 = 100 sq metres

x^2 = 100 /4

x^2 = 25

x = √25

x = 5

The width of rectangle is 5 metres thus the length of rectangle 4x = 4 × 5 = 20 metres
